– It is often remarked upon by visitors how quiet our roads are and how
appealing they are to cyclists. Meandering country lanes with stunning
views of the countryside and wildlife provide an excellent opportunity
to 'get on your bike' and explore the area.
Bird Watching – For years bird watchers have visited the area
to experience many species of birds from wild geese to birds of prey.
Now we are also pleased to advise that we have the Galloway Red Kite
Trail which is proving to be extremely popular with many visitors were
these fantastic birds can be seen throughout the area plus at close quarters at the feed station at Laurieston. Watersports – Galloway
offers fantastic watersports from sailing and windsurfing to
water-skiing and canoeing with several venues with fully trained staff
available to take care of you and your family.
