Terms & Conditions
Occupants must not exceed the max number advertised unless by prior arrangement. We reserve the right to charge an additional cost should this number be exceeded. Check in - 15:00 hrs Check out - 11.00 hrs The owners have the right to enter the property at any reasonable time to inspect or to carry out any necessary work or maintenance. Please leave the property in the same clean and tidy condition as when you arrive. The property owners reserve the right to charge an additional cost should this not be the case. Fuel and electricity is included in the cost and should be used sensibly. The owners reserve the right to charge should excessive amounts be consumed. The visitor will be held liable and requested to pay for any item or items lost, damaged or broken. We would advise that any such deficiency be reported immediately on arrival. This property is let for a minimum 7 days on a Saturday to Saturday basis, however, we may on occasions let properties for periods of less than 7 days. Should you have such a request, please contact us directly. Should you use the online booking facility your debit/credit card will not automatically be debited but shall be retained to secure your provisional booking. You will be contacted by the person responsible for the accommodation to agree a payment method to suit both parties. It is at our sole discretion if deposits may be carried over to alternative dates. Dogs are not accepted unless otherwise stated or by prior arrangement with the provider and may incur an additional charge. We reserve the right to charge for any damage or inconvenience caused. The owners will not accept any liability for any incident involving the visitor's pet. Due consideration must be given to farm animals and wildlife. Basic rules which apply to all properties - Dogs must never be left unattended in the property and must not be allowed on the furniture or bedding. The owner of the animal must clear any fouling. The property owner will not provide bowls or feeding. Booking All bedroom, bathroom and kitchen linen is provided. This is a non smoking house. Entry is 3pm Saturday and exit is 11am Saturday. There is a local Housekeeper. She will be happy to deal with any queries during your stay.
A 25% deposit is required on acceptance of your booking, the balance to be paid 4 weeks before the holiday. Cheque payments only. A discount will apply for 2 week bookings and for repeat bookings.
Please email mclellangardens@gmail.com stating your contact name and number, the week(s) required, number of adults/children and any special requests. We will phone you within 24 hours of receiving your enquiry.
Cancellation • A cancellation must be advised in writing. • The balance of the rental must be paid one month before the holiday. Failure to pay the balance three weeks before the holiday may result in the booking being cancelled. • If you booking is cancelled, the deposit will not be refunded. • If you have paid the balance of the rental and you cancel your booking we will try to re-let that period. • If we can successfully re-let we will refund the balance of the rental (but not the deposit). • We recommend that you take out holiday insurance to cover any loss you may incur.
