Location

McLellan Gardens lies in a quiet cul-de-sac just off the High Street in the picturesque town of Dalbeattie.

Entering Dalbeattie from Dumfries, turn left after Colliston Park - this is High Street.

Arriving into Dalbeattie from Castle Douglas continue through Dalbeattie until you see the Pheasant Hotel on your right. Turn right onto High Street.

McLellan Gardens is the second turn on the right.

Getting here…from the South and East
Heading North the M6 becomes the M74 - near Gretna Green just past "The Gretna Factory Outlet Centre" situated on your left, take a left turn onto the A75 heading for Stranraer.

Once you reach Dumfries you have 2 choices.

At the western end of the Dumfries by-pass at the roundabout, take the first exit for Cargenbridge. Carry straight on until the mini roundabout and turn right onto the A711 to Dalbeattie, 12 miles distant. On entering Dalbeattie at the junction with the A745, turn right and follow the directions above.

The A75 bypasses Annan and Dumfries. Proceed on the A75 to Castle Douglas and enter the town from first roundabout off the bypass. At Tesco’s turn left onto the A745 to Dalbeattie, 7 miles away.

from the West and Ireland
From Stranraer take the A75 East, head to Castle Douglas and enter the town from the first roundabout off the A75 . Follow the road onto the King Street (the main road) and at the top roundabout take the A745 to Dalbeattie and follow the instructions above.

from the North, Glasgow and Prestwick Airport
Take the A77 South. South of Ayr take the A713 for Castle Douglas. Follow the A713 into the town of Castle Douglas to the junction of King Street, turn left and at the top roundabout take the A745 to Dalbeattie and follow the instructions above.
